Job Description Job Description /n Provides advice and counsel to the pharmacy services. Develops and provides guidance on high-impact strategies and solutions based on financial, operational, technology and market analyses to help increase the profitability and performance of the pharmacy services. Devises new methods and procedures using strong analytic and inductive thinking. /n Job Responsibility /n /n - Provides strategic advice and guidance to the Pharmacy function. /n - Works with senior executives to develop and drive system-wide functional strategies. /n - Collaborates with stakeholders to develop strategies for driving revenue and reducing expenses. /n - Identifies and develops innovative strategies and new business initiatives and opportunities consistent with the mission and strategic direction of the company. /n - Promotes quality and productivity improvements through involvement in the development of improved procedures, process innovations and changes which support the strategic direction. /n - Regularly provides technical guidance to others in the use of new technologies, theories, concepts and techniques. /n - Devises new methods and procedures using strong analytic and inductive thinking. /n - Researches, develops and coordinates the implementation of strategic plans, policies and standards. /n - Provides input on development, coordination, integration, communication, and performance evaluation of operating policies and procedures consistent and in collaboration with stakeholders. /n - Optimizes inventory purchasing and monitoring to reduce overhead and expense. /n - Manages identification of service gaps, recruitment activities, and workforce development initiatives. /n - Works to establish a service excellence culture and enhance the customer experience. /n - Oversees current and future needs assessments of equipment, systems and software to ensure reporting of financial and operational metrics and optimal service outcomes. /n - Ensures compliance with Federal and State rules and regulations as it pertains to pharmacy and pharmaceutical purchasing and inventory management /n - Interprets and standardizes regulatory reporting standards to ensure compliance with government and regulatory reporting and third-party agencies. /n - Oversees development, review and distribution of reports and procedural statements which ensure regulatory and policy compliance. /n - Performs related duties as required. Duties not mentioned here, but considered related are not essential functions. /n /n Job Qualification /n /n - Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, required. /n - Current License to practice as a Pharmacist in New York State required, plus specialized certifications as needed. /n - 10 years of relevant experience and 2 years of leadership/management experience preferred. /n /n /n *Additional Salary Detail /n The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.When determining a team member's base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).
