Job Description Job Description Job Title: Maintenance Electrician Shift: First Shift Pay: Up to $38 hour based on experience Send updated resume to kimartin@ aerotek.com for IMMEDIATE consideration As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for diagnosing problems and providing extensive troubleshooting. You will repair and troubleshoot VFDs, PLCs, test motors with associated controls, and diagnose protective devices such as breakers, fuses, and overloads. Experience with instrumentation or the ability to learn these systems is essential. Responsibilities Fill out and review work permits in conjunction with operation personnel prior to starting a job. Ensure all lockout-tagout procedures are followed. Locate equipment problems and discuss potential causes. Recommend practical solutions for technical problems. Diagnose problems and repair VFDs, PLCs, motors with associated controls, protective devices, breakers, fuses, overloads, relays, conduit & cable, transmitter calibration controllers, switches, and metrology. Repair damages and defects to equipment as per technical instructions and discuss with the team. Consult additional technical information such as drawings and manuals if necessary. Perform planned preventive and predictive maintenance tasks within the schedule. Essential Skills Must have 3 years experience working in a industrial / manufacturing environment Experience with Industrial Electrical 480v and up Proficiency in PLCs and VFDs Experience with Automated Systems Troubleshooting, wiring, and repair skills Preventive maintenance knowledge High voltage electrical troubleshooting Understanding of schematics, motor controls, and sensors Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Florham Park, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $70720.00 - $83200.00/yr. Comprehensive Health & Welfare benefits program offered to all eligible US employees on your start date. In addition to the above, you have the opportunity to participate in 401(k) retirement plan. If you contribute to the plan, company will also match 100% of the first 4% of total eligible pay that you contribute. Company will automatically enroll you in the plan at 4% of pay which will be deducted and contributed toward the plan unless you decline or make another election. You will receive a welcome package from the 401(k) vendor soon after joining. Your pay and contributions are subject to plan and IRS limits as outlined in the Summary Plan Description. ? Your Paid Time Off (PTO) accrues on a pay period basis, with a maximum of 18 days per year, for the first five years of employment.
