Scientist/Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician

employee well-being. Job Responsibilities As a Medical
Technologist, you will play a vital role in diagnostic testing and
patient care. Your duties will include: Performing accurate and
timely collection, labeling, and analysis of blood and other
specimens using venous or capillary puncture on patients of all
ages. Conducting complex and routine diagnostic lab procedures
across multiple disciplines. Operating and maintaining laboratory
instruments and automated systems. Monitoring and analyzing quality
control and proficiency testing data to ensure precision and
compliance with CLIA guidelines. Participating in competency
assessments, procedure evaluations, and the onboarding/training of
new team members. Maintaining an organized and clean work
environment with adequate inventory and preventative maintenance
schedules. Following universal precautions and safety standards to
protect patients and staff. Maintaining strong communication and
positive relationships with physicians, staff, and patients.
Minimum Qualifications Education : Bachelor’s degree in Medical
Technology preferred An associate or Bachelor’s degree with
eligibility for certification as MLT, MT, or CLS is also considered
Certification : Must obtain ASCP certification as a Medical
Laboratory Technician (MLT), Medical Technologist (MT), Medical
Laboratory Scientist (MLS), or equivalent within 2 years of
employment Skills & Attributes : Strong problem-solving and
analytical skills Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced,
patient-centered environment Excellent interpersonal and
