Job Description:

Summary The Foreman will supervise and coordinate activities or work crews, engaged in construction, installation and repair of structures and fixtures. Connecticut Contractors License is required. Responsibilities Supervise work crews during the various stages of construction. Assure the safety procedures are being followed. Ensure that the crew is following blueprints and construction plans. Evaluate the crew according to their performance and capabilities. Determine the time limit for the tasks and make sure they are completed within the decided time frame. Troubleshoot any issues that occur and report them to the Site Manager. Coordinate with the Project Team to recruit and train the staff according to the need of a project. Performs other related duties as assigned. Requirements Ability to read and understand blueprints and construction plans. Ability to solve mathematical problems quickly and accurately. Strong problem-solving and management skills. Excellent knowledge of construction equipment and procedures. Ability to work in a team or individually as and when required. Ability to manage and handle multiple tasks. Exceptional leadership skills. Ability to travel as required by project location.
