Inventory Control Clerk

Each of our nine stocking distribution centers is equipped with state-of-the-art quality control equipment to ensure that our customers receive products that exceed their expectations for quality.

We are currently seeking an entry level Inventory Control Clerk to join our Tower Team in our Corporate headquarters in Holtsville. Office hours are Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm. Training will be provided.

Job Requirements:

• Must be detailed oriented
• Strong follow up skills necessary
• Strong Administrative skills needed including the ability to multi-task
• Needs to be able to prioritize time sensitive issues
• Must be a team player both in the department and within the Company
• Strong and accurate data entry skills
• Excellent customer service skills a must
• Strong computer skills including Excel, Windows and Email
  
  Duties Include but are not limited to:
  
  • Manage Confirming report (to be completed daily and report to supervisor any open issues)
  • Enter all incoming supplier confirmations - Confirmation must be match to P21 PO to include correct: Pricing, Quantity, Items description, Ship dates, Ship terms
  • All discrepant issues must be directed to the Buyer for correction.
  • On-line supplier confirmations and shipping info must be completed by 12:00pm daily
  • Working with Sales team to evaluate current customer contracts and inventory evaluation.
  • Review non-stockable schedule P.O. reports
  • Review min/max levels and make adjustments as necessary
