Develops system architecture, and ensures the integrity of the architecture/design. Work is evaluated upon completion to ensure objectives have been met. Determines and develops approach to solutions.*This position will ideally be based out of our Holtsville, NY office* Responsibilities:

  • Directs and controls activities of two or more functional areas through several department managers or large teams, or manages significant functional discipline at a Business or regional level. Involved in strategic growth of a business
  • Develops and establishes operational policies and practices in area managed. Accountable for and contributes significantly to profitability and/or cost containment through direct P&L responsibility
  • Regularly interfaces with senior leadership, key internal/external organizations. Negotiates with suppliers, strategic partners and/or internal customers
  • Responsible for areas with complex or conflicting legal requirements or cultures. Balances Business/Function success in support of total company strategy. Requires collaboration and operational execution with other businesses or external entities
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and supplier relationship management. Extensive expertise in product, technology, service, strategy, and business complexities Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:
    • Bachelors degree in appropriate Engineering Discipline
    • 10 years experience Electrical Engineering with strong full cycle Product Development experience within the technology industry with hardware/software
    • Prior leadership/Supervisory experience leading large teams/People Development
    • Experience leading Concept design to implementation of new product development/maintenance of lines/driving functional excellence
    • Experience Providing guidance and support to NPD Roadmap/drive vision Preferred Qualifications:
      • Masters degree
