Solebury Trout requires an Analyst to join its corporate
communications practice. The Analyst will support the corporate
communications team with developing and executing strategic plans,
drafting press and thought leadership materials, conducting media
outreach, monitoring media and social conversation and managing
Role / Responsibilities:
--- Monitor and summarize media stories and social conversation
--- Research and maintain media and influencer lists and conduct
--- Provide first drafts of communications materials including
press releases, by-lined articles, key messages
--- Assist in development and management of communications
strategies, plans and activities
--- Create presentations for clients and prospective clients
--- Organize logistics for press events, analyst days, reporter
Requirements for this position:
--- B.A. degree, ideally with course work in public relations,
marketing or journalism
--- High energy, self-starting, hard worker
--- Strong writing with careful attention to detail / an excellent
--- Analytical thinker with impeccable judgment
--- Top-notch computer skills - including proficiency in Microsoft
Office, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, presentation creation, database
--- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
--- Experience using PR distribution and research tools a plus
--- Potential for travel to client meetings, conferences and
- Supports senior members of the communications team on the
development and execution of communications plans. Provides media
and influencer identification, monitoring and outreach.

Media Channel Management - Knowledge of different media channels
(e.g. TV, radio, press, etc.); ability to evaluate and select the
most preferable media outlets to ensure information is effectively
delivered to target audiences.
Planning: Tactical, Strategic - Ability to contribute to
operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5
years) planning in support of the overall business plan.
Public Relations - Knowledge of organizational practices and
considerations for communicating in the public arena, from the
community to global public relations (PR); the ability to
communicate to various forms of media outlets effectively and
establish favorable public relations.
Resource Management - Plans, mobilizes and distributes resources to
fulfill business objectives and plans.
Roles at this level typically require a university / college
degree, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience. In lieu
of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience
(including military service) may be considered.
