wonderful individuals we serve!This is a part-time/per diem,
non-exempt position that will be working in our Hartford, CT

professional development.Duties & Responsibilities: Provide group
facilitation for domestic violence programs for court/probation or
parole referrals. Complete and maintain accurate records and
reports regarding the clients progress, services provided, and
other required information. Communicate with the program
coordinator/director about attendance and behavioral/mental
health/substance abuse issues. Attending clinical supervision and
training as necessary per program requirements and contractual
obligations. Other responsibilities Clinical and Administrative
tasks as assigned by the Coordinator/Director.Job Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Psychology, Social Work, CACD, or a closely
related field required; or actively working towards a degree.
Masters degree preferred. Bachelor's level applicants must possess
a minimum of three years of experience working in the field of
domestic violence. Master's level applicants must possess a minimum
of one years experience in the field of domestic violence. Group
leadership/facilitation experience and ability to collaborate with
co-facilitator and other staff and personnel are required.
Knowledge of CT criminal justice system and its clientele as well
as area programs and resources and working relationships with area
providers are all desirable. Strong written and verbal skills in
English. Ability to speak Spanish a plus. Must be able to employ
clinical skills and interact professionally with other staff and
service providers to fulfill non-therapeutic responsibilities as
well. Must know Word, Excel, Outlook, and have database

developmental or intellectual disabilities through specialized

Social Justice Services (SJS), supports those leaving incarceration
to make positive, sustainable life transitions through residential
and non-residential programs. Behavioral Health (BH) has worked to
break cycles of violence, crime, and incarceration by providing
client-centered interventions and support services to empower and
strengthen individuals, families, and communities. BH provides
domestic violence treatment and education, community reentry
services, mentoring programs, and intensive outpatient programs.
The Crime and Justice Institute (CJI) is a non-profit organization
working at the local, state, and national level to improve public
safety and the delivery of justice. CJI provides technical
assistance, research, and other services to improve outcomes in
policing, the corrections system, pre-trial, re-entry, community
