Functions:Diagnose and Treat Malocclusions: Examine patients'
dental and skeletal structure to identify and diagnose alignment
issues and develop treatment plans to address these concerns.Design
and Implement Orthodontic Treatment: Use various orthodontic
appliances, including braces and aligners, to correct bite issues,
misaligned teeth, and jaw discrepancies.Monitor Patient Progress:
Regularly assess the effectiveness of treatment plans, making
necessary adjustments to ensure optimal outcomes for each
patient.Educate Patients on Oral Health: Provide guidance and
education to patients and their families on maintaining oral health
during and after orthodontic treatment.Collaborate with Dental
Team: Work closely with dental assistants, hygienists, and other
team members to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient
care.Maintain Accurate Patient Records: Document treatment plans,
progress notes, and other relevant information in patient records,
ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.Ensure Patient
Comfort and Satisfaction: Create a positive experience for every
patient by addressing concerns, answering questions, and providing
compassionate care.Stay Updated with Orthodontic Advances:
Continuously update your knowledge and skills through continuing
education and training to provide the best care possible.Stay
Flexible: Be ready to handle additional tasks as required, adapting
to the changing needs of the practice.Preferred Qualifications:DDS
or DMD degree with specialized training in orthodontics.Valid
orthodontic license (state-specific requirements apply).Strong
diagnostic and treatment planning skills.Excellent communication
and interpersonal abilities.Commitment to patient-centered care and
