Job Description:

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our accounting team in a high volume, fast paced environment. This individual will be responsible for the day-to-day functions of the Accounts Receivable Department, with a primary focus on customer invoicing, customer account collections, credit investigations and posting of cash activity to the general ledger.The ideal candidate will be very organized and possess a strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate will also be a strong communicator and a team player.Responsibilities:Assist with timely, accurate processing of customer invoicesEnsure compliance with company invoicing and credit policyCommunicate and follow-up with internal staff and manager regarding invoicing/credit issues and invoicing/credit policyAccurate posting of customer payments to their accountsCollection of delinquent customer accountsDocumenting collection call activity into Oracle NetsuiteCustomer account maintenancePerforming credit checks and investigations on potential customersPosting of banking activity to the general ledger on a daily basisGeneral administrative duties such as filing, processing credit card transactions and the handling of customer refundsGeneral customer service duties as it relates to Accounts ReceivableSpecial projects as required/assignedQualifications:Must have 2 to 5 years relevant Business experienceAssociates Degree, major in Accounting preferredStrong attention to detail, highly motivated, strong initiativeExcellent communication skills (verbal and written)Proficient computer skills including Excel and WordNetsuite experience a plusGeneral understanding of Accounting principlesAbility to multi task in a fast paced accounting environmentAbout Custom Computer Specialists:Custom Computer Specialists, Inc. is the Technical Consultant in the Northeast celebrating over 40 years in business!
