This position is for 1st shift; 7am-3:30pm.

Responsibilities: -

• Ensure all Safety policies and procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Good Documentation Practices are followed by packaging line employees
  
  
• Knowledge of the Persona Backoffice (Vitamin Packs) and Puritans Backoffice software systems used for tracking/shipping orders.
  
  
• Maintain workflow for the Persona Packaging line (orders, equipment, supplies)
  
  
• Ability to perform QA1, QA2, QA3, Printer, and Labelling responsibilities as listed:
  
  
  • Inspection of Orders
    
    
  • Correction Forms (sealer / re-work)
    
    
  • Electronic and Paper Pill Distribution Sheets
    
    
  • Manual and Electronic Scan Process for verification of orders
    
    
  • Packaging of the orders into shipping boxes with or without "Add-on" items
    
    
  • Organizing Booklet, Supplemental Facts, Insert, and Pill Distribution items received form the Canon Printers
    
    
  • Utilize Desktop Shipper Software (USPS, UPS, and FedEx) and BackOffice Software (Lasership and ShipX) to create shipping labels and trace orders.
    
    
  • Assemble pack for final shipment and place in correct bulk container -
    
    
  • Assist in final preparation of gaylords, shipment counts, and movement to shipping docks
    
    
    
    
    
    
  • Serve as a safety champion and leader for our Friends Helping Friends by identifying at risk actions or situations, taking preventative actions, and protecting yourself and our organization
    
    
  • Collaborate cross functionally with quality, technical services, maintenance, and supply chain to ensure dispensing can meet or exceed their expected requirements
    
    
  • Champion continuous improvement culture and principles on the manufacturing floor in coordination with Nestle Continuous Excellence program
    
    
  • Always focused on implementing, improving, and reinforcing our safety, health, and environmental programs to foster a safe workplace for all our employees
    
    
  • Responsible for completion of training for all employees in packaging on SOP's, GDP's and GMP's
    
    
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

    Requirements:
    
    
    
    
    • Must have flexibility to work First Shift, Second Shift and weekends, as needed
      
      
    • Demonstrable experience within a similar role is essential
      
      
    • Secondary degree or equivalent is advantageous
      
      
    • Systems, processes, and operations development experience required
      
      
    • Manufacturing or packaging background preferred
      
      
    • Experience in operating and troubleshooting of packaging equipment
      
      
    • Ability to work and lead teams independently
      
      
    • Strong stakeholder management with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization
      
      
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize accordingly while having a clear eye for detail
      
      
    • Excellent communication skills
      
      
    • Proficient in all Microsoft software
      
      
    • Solid analytical and technical skill
