Job Description:

Our client is currently looking for a Part Time Accounts Payable Clerk to join the team. This role is temp to perm.Client DetailsThe client is a well known Consumer Goods company located in Mount Kisco. This role is based on site but flexible for hybrid.Description --- Enter and properly code invoices, manage and monitor invoice approvals across company departments. --- Review invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment --- Run AP Aging report weekly/ Generate reports detailing accounts payables status --- Process payments weekly --- Provide payment remittances to vendors, initiate invoice, statement & dispute requests, manage online accounts. --- Identify vendors, gather relevant information, and submit for timely mail out of annual 1099 forms --- Create, post and email monthly commission statements based on cash collection & reporting from wholesale vendors. --- Complete monthly bank reconciliation. --- Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accurately recorded. --- Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statementsProfile --- A bachelor's degree in accounting preferred; related field accepted --- Relevant work experience for 3-5 year is a plus --- Must be computer-savvy & able to work on a multi-platform environment. --- Experienced in Microsoft Excel: --- Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP's experience preferred --- Excellent verbal and written communication skills --- Must be able to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines --- BlueCherry experience is a plus. --- Microsoft Dynamics SL experience is a plus.Job OfferCompetitive pay.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
