This role is primarily responsible for the handling of operational support functions, as document handling in a supporting role to all other departments. Specifically, this role handles all OnBase and CardWeb requests to the department, return mail handling, test account creation, document archival and retrieval, statement handling requests, authorization log requests, and other supporting functions as required and the needs of the company evolve. For customer-related inquiries, the request will be reviewed, the necessary account actions will be performed and cardholder response will be provided within specific timeframes back to the requesting department. As a Support associate, this position also requires performing administrative and clerical duties inherent in the all processes within the functional area, and providing operational and cardholder support regarding these processes.

*Essential Functions*

- Completes clerical tasks and projects assigned, including but not limited to receiving facsimile or separating reports, correspondence and filing

- Plans, organizes and schedules assignment/projects assuring follow-through to completion

- Retrieves cardholder monthly statements

- Assists operational areas with requested FDR reports or cardholder statements, and any other requests as needed

- Assists other departments as needed

- Handles cover letter process, return letters and statements in accordance with department and company policy, as well as security items and debt validation statement uploads

- Maintains knowledge or current policy and procedure changes and updates, and serves as a resource to clients, and external departments

- Creates and fulfills of test account requests

- Processing of all security work received daily

- Completes department monitoring and exception reports in a timely manner

- Processes all OnBase and CardWeb requests in accordance to department timeframes and is mindful of any regulatory timeframes/impacts to these requests

- Receives and archives all physical items received back from scanning vendor, and retrieves these items as needed from other operational areas

- Adheres to the regulatory timeframes and controls within the department and business unit

- Notes accounts for actions taken and response to inquiry

- Other functions and duties as required by management/evolving needs of the department.

*Education and Experience: *

* High School Diploma or its equivalent education required
* One (1) year of related operations, support or mailroom experience required
* One (1) year of credit card industry experience is a plus
* Work-related inbound and/or outbound telephone experience highly desirable
* Experience working with computers is required
* Experience with First Data Resources (FDR), Evolve, or related platforms preferred

*Summary of Qualifications: *

- Must be able to work under pressure along with good time management and problem solving skills

- Keyboarding proficiency

- Familiarity with Windows based computer applications

- Ability to work under pressure; flexibility and willingness to work at a rapid pace

- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions

- Ability to compose simple correspondence

- Ability to communicate with others and to assimilate and understand information, in a manner consistent with essential job functions

- Ability to multi-task is essential

- Must be able to complete work within required timeframes

- Must problem solve in an effective and efficient manner

- Must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills

*Work Environment/Physical Demands: *

* Work is in an office environment, sustained posture in a seated position for prolonged periods of time; works with computer equipment for prolonged periods of time.
* Some stress may occur
* Travel is generally not required
* This position reports to an assigned Team Leader and supervises no one
