*Customer Order & Fulfillment Specialist*

The Customer Order & Fulfillment specialist is the key focal for GE Aviation Customer Service repairs for all customer returned assets and is the voice of the customer during the repair process. This role coordinates with customers on the repair and return of repairable assets and is involved in all aspects of the repair from the point of initial receipt to the final shipment of the unit back to the customer. Additionally, this role develops processes to ensure work is aligned and executed based on customer requirements and coordinate priorities with the Operations Management staff.

Job Description Roles and Responsibilities

--- Act as the primary contact for customer inquiries.

--- Facilitate order management including the processing of orders, input into internal business systems, and upkeep of internal systems.

--- Connect to and maintain customer portals and other systems as required.

--- Receive/retrieve, review, and implement customer Purchase Orders, contracts and/or delivery orders.

--- Prepare customer(s) repair status reports and communicate status with customer(s).

--- Provide operations management team with delivery requirements to meet contractual commitments.

--- Review repairs estimates and submit to customer; provide customer disposition to operations to facilitate the completion of customer asset.

--- Monitor repair costs to ensure costs are within customer approved purchase order/contract funding.

--- Assist other business functions such as programs, engineering, and quality in the facilitation of communication.

--- Suggests improvements in products, processes and procedures in an effort to drive continuous improvement.

--- Responsibilities are aligned based on products with the expectation that there is collaboration with other members of the team to cover needs during vacation times, etc.

--- Support billing and collection activities.

Required Qualifications

--- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Services).

Desired Characteristics

--- Experience with processing customer purchase orders, to include US Government Contracts

--- Strong knowledge of US Government Contracts

--- Strong oral and written communication skills.

--- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

--- Strong problem solving skills.

--- Ability to work independently.

--- Experience in customer service position(s).

--- Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle as well as proficiency in common computing applications such as the Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $24.00 per hour
