Executive Assistant to EVP

This position is responsible for managing all aspects of the
Executive Vice President's day-to-day activities including
schedule, travel arrangements, correspondence, messages and
communication with internal and external contacts. Represent the
company at the highest level during frequent contacts with leaders
of business organizations, Charter investors, directors,
executives, employees and customers. Complete numerous special
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and
enhance the customer experience Manage EVP's correspondence,
including e-mails, phone calls, letters and visitors; answer
routine and some complex inquiries and obtain and furnish
information on behalf of supervisor; prioritize supervisor's
incoming communications to ensure supervisor is aware of key
+ Prepare executive for travel, public events and speaking
engagements by compiling relevant information and significantly
contributing content to composition of supervisor's presentations,
speeches or other correspondence.
+ Organize and prepare complex documents requiring the integration
of multiple office technology and software applications.
+ Demonstrate professional written communication skills via
reports, executive summaries and newsletters.
+ Act as the office resource for word processing and spreadsheet
+ Research, compile and analyze information and data relating to
executive's area of the business; evaluate results and provide
+ Prepare and maintain confidential information and data.
+ Schedule and maintain the EVP's electronic calendar/cell phone of
appointments, meetings, travel itineraries and coordinate related
+ Attend meetings on EVP's behalf as needed and follow-up with
meeting agenda and action items.
+ May utilize the assistance of one or more junior level
secretaries on a project basis.
+ Perform comprehensive event planning and coordination function,
including determining attendees, flow of information to attendees,
equipment, staffing, catering, location, audio-visual training and
+ Provide possible solutions when approaching the executive with a
problem and explain the pros and cons
+ Order office supplies such as copier toner and binding machine
+ Utilize Fed-Ex account equipment and software.
+ May assist more than one executive.
+ Perform other duties as requested.

+ Ability to read, write and speak the English language to
communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the
phone, and by written communications in a clear, straight-forward,
and professional manner
+ Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and

+ Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
