Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY
The Systems Architect designs and builds components of enterprise
applications that help solve business challenges, providing
consultative guidance on all project assignments. Ensure that the
business and technical architecture of the delivered solution
matches requirements. Leads aspects of design, development and
provides mentoring of resources.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Partner with both the IT and the business teams to develop high
quality deliverables across all phases of a project, from
participating in the requirements, design and build phases;
delivering high-quality deliverables, through to user acceptance
testing.
Leverage your industry experience to consult and influence the
company's direction, in the pursuit of Pega best practices.
Demonstrate your commitment to and enthusiasm for project success
by ensuring that the delivered product is fully-functioning,
performs to business requirements defined and approved by the
stakeholders, and meets or exceeds expectations.
Mentor and train business stakeholders in key Pega technology
functionality.
Provide technical training and user support to technical and
business groups.
Responsible for technical oversight and implementation of Pega
solutions including supporting Inception and Elaboration to ensure
optimal solution architecture and design.
Direct and oversee technical teams in construction of the designed
solution.
Develop custom systems integration solution components as dictated
by business requirements.
Manage systems validation and defect resolution efforts.
Collaborates with project leadership and management to manage the
engagement direction.
Pinpoint and resolve high-level issues and develop staff and budget
plans.
Highly motivated, outside-the-box thinker with the desire to
continuously improve themselves and others.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Certifications
Pega Certified: CSA
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
Ability to work independently, as well as in a collaborative and
dynamic team environment
Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities
Ability to analyze and interpret data
Ability to quickly identify business problems/opportunities
Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and
straightforward manner
Ability to communicate with all levels of management and company
personnel
Ability to lead and manage multiple projects at one time
Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering,
Electrical Engineering or related field
Related Work Experience
5+ years of Experience in building and implementing
5+ years of model-driven, enterprise-level business solutions.
Travel
