Are you bilingual in Spanish (read, write and speak)? Do you have experience working in ADP Payroll? Are you familiar with federal, state and local labor laws? Experience onboarding new hires? If so, this may be the role for you! Ajilon is currently working with a wonderful company in the Stamford, CT area to fill their permanent Bilingual HR Generalist position. This role will sit full time in the office, in a wonderful work environment and room for growth! This is a family owned and operated company - so family comes first! Responsibilities: - Run weekly ADP Payroll. Input hours and process for on average, 55 employees - Maintain all HR policies and procedures for NY and CT - Maintain employee files - Benefits administration - Onboard new hires - Provide training on HR topics as needed - Update company policies to ensure continued compliance with requirements - Maintain files on company vehicles ensuring proper insurance and timely registration - Coordinate miscellaneous needs for the office such as contractor coordination for repairs and maintenance, safety checklists, purchasing of supplies, and other duties as needed - Ensure company compliance with all legal, tax, OSHA, HR and payroll requirements - Good working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment labor laws and payroll laws and ability to apply them Requirements: - Five years of human resources experience required - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Must be a self-starter - Ability to work independently but also in a group setting If you are interested in this opportunity - please do not hesitate to apply!   • Redirect employee questions regarding benefits
  • Assist in employee relations issues
  • Respond to employee relations issues
  • Resolve complex employee relations issues
  • Provide support with employee relations
  • Managing employee records, compensation and benefits
  • Presenting new employee orientation programs
