The Enterprise Operations & Technology Chief Administrative Office (EO&T CAO) is a driving factor in delivering value to our organization, our businesses, regulators and stakeholders.-- With responsibility for Risk and Control, Quality Assurance, Transformation, O&T Regulatory Engagement and the O&T Chief Data Office, the EO&T CAO enables the organization to execute on O&T's Vision and Strategy.The EO&T Risk and Control Transformation Lead reports directly to the EO&T Head of Transformation. This role will oversee EO&T Transformation Risk and Controls workstreams. This role will be responsible for ensuring effective oversight of large, EO&T R&C programs addressing the Citi firm-wide Transformation to build a better bank. This position will be accountable for consistent and timely execution of Transformation initiatives, including identifying and managing interdependencies between programs and providing transparency to senior Citi stakeholders. In addition, the role will drive the development of strategies to build the future state Risk and Control model across Enterprise Operations and Technology and be accountable for material and measurable progress in risk reduction.--The role will also serve on multiple Senior Transformation Committees and will act as a trusted advisor to EO&T Leadership.Key Responsibilities:Strategy & Transformation

  • Serving as the EO&T lead for (R&C) Consent Order work, including driving all changes needed to reach Target State.
  • Oversight of EO&T de-risking programs, including maintaining proactive communication with Senior Management concerning the overall plan and execution, as well as participating in book of work prioritization and business reviews.
  • Work with project management resources across EO&T to consolidate, track and report on the status of work efforts relative to defined committed deadlines.
  • Oversee a transformation team to design required actions to implement the end state and track completion of the actions in line with Citi change methodology.
  • Identifying and leveraging the existing teams to execute on transformation initiatives.-- Ensuring their alignment to workstreams and workstream leads, identify risks and gaps, and recommend solutions.Governance
    • Serving as EO&T Transformation representative on multiple Senior Committees and will act as a trusted advisor to EO&T Leadership.
    • Present on status of the program to senior stakeholders within Citi as well as to Citi's regulators.
    • Lead EO&T R&C Transformation Governance forums, coordinating and program managing across the various EO&T initiative leads to provide an overall view on progress, highlighting risks and escalations.
    • Work with Control and Internal Audit stakeholders to ensure credible challenge throughout the remediation process and validation of results in line with Citi's Internal Audit requirements.Risk and Control Strategic Reengineering:
      • Driving strategic and transformative improvements to the EO&T Risk and Control framework, governance and oversight processes.
      • Standardizing and improving EO&T's Risk Framework.Qualifications:
        • 15+ years of experience including Senior Roles in Risk and Control, Program / Project Management, Audit, Operations and Technology.
        • Subject matter expertise in Risk & Controls.
        • Strong background in process design and re-engineering and improvement methodologies.
        • Relevant experience in managing large complex cross-organization programs.
        • Demonstrated experience in leading sustained change and change management efforts.
        • Strong program management discipline and experience in one or several of business sectors and global functions.
        • Proven record of effective communication with regulatory bodies and awareness of relevant banking regulation and supervisory expectations.
        • Strong leadership skills and exemplary values role model, with a proven track record in driving positive and sustained change.
        • Ability to lead by example, strong influential and interpersonal skills, used to deliver results and push the organization agenda in a complex environment.
        • Strong ability to engage at the senior management level and demonstrated communication experience at different levels of organization.
