In this role, you have the opportunity to:

The Grooming and Beauty Team is looking for growth and global scalability in new business models and solutions offerings, focusing on scale and monetization of offers and growing Grooming & Beauty Solutions through new product offerings, new business models and establishing partnerships.

You are responsible for (but not limited to):

  • Be responsible for managing the business performance of the category, including financial & business KPI’s such as market share, ratings & reviews, and product quality
  • Play a leading role in the further digitalization of the product portfolio & go to market strategies
  • Ensures that the BMC enablers are in place from the Business and / or Business Category as part of the BMC plans, for instance NPIs, quality, support for the in-market approaches for channels, etc.
  • Aligns the GTM approach
  • Supports the Business Leader in the BMC efforts and represents the Business in the BMC for smaller/non-key markets on behalf of the Business Leader
  • Responsible for identifying competitive moves in collaboration with the market BM&S and supported by Insights and Analytics.
  • Develops responses and attack plans in collaboration with Category and Product Management and sharing best practices across the markets
  • The Business Development Manager also supports strategic deals from a global perspective, especially when they require new commercial models or have a global strategic priority, per of request of the Market
  • Strong collaboration with the Category and Product Managers through feedback into the value proposition creation, product development and launch to maximize the commercial success of the offerings
  • Interact on a regular basis with our marketing teams in key markets and ensure a successful product launch that fits with the local market needs.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience with business development and product launches is a must.
  • Experience with translating market research and shopper insights into product concepts and new value propositions.
  • Proven track record with global consumer/retail brands with a demonstrated ability to work with multiple and diverse markets.
  • Strong analytical skills and the passion to drive business growth. Ability to think creatively and pragmatically.
  • Excellent project management skills and broad interests that allow you to create multi-disciplinary environments that inspire and motivate others.
  • Ability to collaborate with local marketing and sales teams, influence others, present convincing arguments and build and maintain extensive networks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills to interact with executives and top managers.
  • International business experience is a plus
  • Industry knowledge is considered an advantage
  • A Master’s in Business, Science or Engineering with excellent academic track record
  • Excellent analytics and quantitative skills
  • Highly experienced in end-to-end proposition development and go-to market strategies
  • Comfortable in managing and navigating through ambiguities and highly dynamic of start-up like environment, managing projects with often competing multiple priorities
  • Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive. Shows willingness to roll up your sleeves and do what's necessary to drive the initiatives to completion
  • A creative problem solver, resourceful, detail-oriented, highly organized, hands-on with the ability to problem-solve in real-time
  • People skills as well as a results-driven attitude when managing project teams
