Our Oncology Solutions team seeks a talented Director, Oncology Operations reporting into our SVP & GM. You will be responsible for defining and refining company-wide processes to drive quality and performance across Sema4 Signal portfolio of solutions, including tests, software systems and services with focus on process optimization and customer experience. Work with cross-functional teams, clients and partners to outline and implement process improvements, systems enhancements and business analytics and reporting


  • Lead Sema4 Signal operational excellence programs to continuously improve our hereditary and somatic offerings, and oncology customer onboarding and ongoing experience
  • Measure operational and customer satisfaction KPIs, and identify opportunities for quality and performance improvements across customer-facing and order-to-cash processes
  • Engage with oncology practices to understand their ordering-to-reporting experience and identify opportunities to lower turn-around-times and improve customer experience
  • Manage changes in process improvement and new Sema4 Signal product introductions
  • Develop communications and training plans for internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide training on operational best practices, process improvements and new product introductions for customers, sales, customer success teams
  • Define and collect KPIs to track business unit performance and customer experience


  • M.S. in Health Science or Medical Laboratory disciplines. PhD a plus.
  • 5+ years of relevant management experience in genetic, genomic or pathology laboratory
  • 6Sigma Master Black Belt or certification in other business process optimization methodology
  • Experience in genetic testing, oncology genetic testing a plus
  • Experience in managing new oncology product introductions in laboratory and/or health services
  • Introduced and managed operational best practices in lab services and/or customer support
  • Identified and implemented process improvements in laboratory and order-to-cash operations
  • Developed and implemented KPIs for operations and performance measurement
  • Trained cross-functional personnel in lab, operations, and customer service protocols
