About this role:

As part of Gartner's Marketing and Communication practice, you will help equip marketers responsible for customer and user experience with what is needed to grow and map their path to CX and UX success.

What you'll do:

* Create research in multiple formats (i.e., writing, video, infographics) on best practices in customer and user experience. * Deliver high quality actionable advice and represent thought leadership to marketing leaders through video-based presentations and discussions with clients. * Remain ahead of the curve on developments and issues within these specified areas as well as applicable adjacent areas. * Lead webinars and present at Gartner live and virtual events on mission critical CX/UX topics.

What you'll need:

The candidate must have significant experience gained from working for 6+ years leading customer experience/user experience programs, creating CX/UX strategy, and organizing and operationalizing CX/UX teams for customer loyalty, satisfaction, and advocacy.

This role requires subject matter expertise in:

* Developing the strategy and assets to support CX/UX strategy, with an eye towards governance, personas, journey maps, CX metrics, customer journey analytics, the integration of CX and UX and building/supporting a customer-centric culture. * Proving the value of CX/UX to C-suite or other leaders. * The use of customer data and insights to drive CX/UX strategies, actions and outcomes. * Working collaboratively with other areas throughout the organization to support and deliver CX/UX. * Beyond subject matter expertise, the right person for this role is willing to challenge conventional norms and views by creating unique, compelling research that will change the way CX/UX leaders and practitioners solve problems and build the strategic organization of tomorrow.

Additional proven skills required include:

* Articulate and succinct communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with public speaking experience. * Demonstrated ability to piece together fragments of information, applying conceptual models, recognizing patterns, and drawing and framing conclusions in real-time, with clients and during meetings. * Impeccable time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. * Bachelor's or equivalent experience. * Ability to conduct occasional travel, regionally and globally.
