Job Description:

Sr. Office 365 EngineerArchitect needs to excel in a fast-paced and challenging work environment. Support the development, deployment, and execution of MS Office 365 services and develop roadmaps and service strategies. Job Description Provide technical and operational subject matter expertise of Office 365 and Microsoft Azure with an emphasis in security (Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) policies for Office 365, Azure AD Identity Protection, MFA, and Conditional Access). Evaluate needs and deliver solutions using OneDrive, Teams, Sharepoint and other O365 collaboration tools. Architect and engineer Office 365 Groups, Teams, providing deep technical knowledge on various Teams architecture elements deployed. Support the development, deployment, and execution of Office 365 services and develop roadmaps and service strategies. Develop concise and accurate engineering documentation including design, artifacts, knowledge guides, and operating procedures. Administer and support Office 365 support configurations and policies. Provide leadership to the team in supporting the development and execution of Office 365 roadmaps and service strategy, including Governance, Licensing, and Policy. Facilitate discovery sessions and surface and analyze customer business requirements and align it with Office 365 capabilities (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.) within a Microsoft E3E5 licensing framework. Support technical and program teams to translate requirements into solution designs and influence stakeholders to drive consensus on approach and work towards achieving desired outcomes. Provide hands-on technical support for the design, construction, configuration, and maintenance of all facets of an Office 365 Tenant. Establishing and maintaining Office 365 Exchange mailboxes, user accounts, distribution groups and providing input on enterprise exchange policies and procedures. Perform configurations and adjustments to enhance mailbox performance Monitor and execute automated and manual mailbox backup and restore processes. Provide user support and conduct user software and hardware training to formulate technology solutions and ensure the effective safeguarding and sharing of enterprise data. Develop concise and accurate engineering documentation including design plans, implementation guides, knowledge guides, and standard operating procedures Support the PM in the development and maintenance of Project Plans and Schedules, Test Plans, and Acceptance Criteria for implementation of services and capabilities of Office 365. Support Office 365 Operations and Maintenance (OM) of all components enabled in the Office 365 Tenant. Support mission-critical, 24x7 systems available for shift and weekend tasks as assigned Monitor ticket queue to ensure that all contractual SLAs are satisfied. Interface with MicrosoftIBM for any Tier 3 support. Participate in monthly patching maintenance. Skills Expert knowledge of Microsoft Exchange OnlineServer and core elements Active Directory, High Availability and Disaster Recovery Configurations, Mail Flow and Connectors, Outlook client configuration, PowerShell, ATP, SMTP, SSLTLS Extensive experience and skill in the use of PowerShell to report on, manage and automate Office 365 services. Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) Certification ITIL Foundation Certification Ability to verify the integrity and availability of hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) Keep up the morale of team members and build relationships with them to develop a strong working unit and supporting their impact on the success of a project. Flexible with conflicting priorities and deadlines. Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and established technologist with 8 years of related experience 7 years of experience with Exchange Online, Office 365, PowerShell use in Production environment, SharePointO365 administrator experience. Preferred Microsoft Certifications, such as Office 365 MCSA, MCSE Significant experience with Office 365 strategiesroadmaps and ability to work with diverse teams to plan and develop enterprise architecture for Office 365 and supporting components Expert knowledge of the O365Sharepoint environment including applications, features, configuration, integration and problem resolution. Hands-on experience with implementation, deployment, migration, and support of core O365 services, including (but not limited to) Teams ndash including support for PC and Mobile Devices and integration with other O365 applications (OneDrive, SharePoint, etc.), chatmeetings, voice integration OneDrive ndash including collaboration and file sharing across PC and Mobile Devices Exchange Online ndash including mailbox migration SharePoint Online ndash including policy enforcement, data protection, governance Office ProPlus Intune Experience with the integration of Office 365 with 3rd party security and application tools Customer Service ndash works well with clients and other vendors in achieving mission success and is committed to providing quality products and services. Strong Communication Skills ndash be able to express key ideas and obtain tangible feedback from cross-functional team members and stakeholders. Critical Thinking and Problem Solving - identifies risks and problems, and be able to conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis to generate and evaluate alternatives and to make recommendations.
