Lead enterprise-wide Data Platform and Solution projects in a
demanding environment. Ensure successful completion of deliverables
across all phases of the development lifecycle.
Organize and lead project teams throughout the project life
Analyze and rationalize requirements to determine agreed,
achievable project objectives that align to organizational goals,
strategies and objectives.
Recommend scope boundaries to best meet business and technology
objectives within given time and resource constraints.
Drive estimates for all components of the projects.
Review, rationalize and integrate multiple work streams of
projects into a structured, cohesive project plan.
Coordinate with other project teams and plans as required.
Successfully create, follow, update and maintain project
schedules while tracking milestones and dependencies across teams
within a project.
Track and remove impediments for the project team.
Identify issues with impact beyond project; resolve issues
working with teams across projects.
Facilitate the development of RFP's or SOW based on project
requirements, and manage deliverables to implementation and
Work with Product, Technology and Business Owners to define
release plans, grooming and prioritizing backlog.
Facilitate agile scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-up, Sprint
Planning, Sprint Demo, Sprint Retrospective.
Lead and coach team in agile practices.
Successfully champion program management improvement initiatives
in the department.
Influence changes that sustainably increase scrum team
Effectively communicate and maintain relationships with project
team participants and project stakeholders across business and
BS/BA in computer science, information systems or equivalent
3 - 5 years of experience in a role that required IT project
2 - 3 years of experience in executing projects in Agile Scrum
2 - 5 years of Developer / Tech Lead experience is preferred
2 - 4 years of experience in Data Warehouse/MDM environment is
Experience working with global teams, particularly with team
members in India, is strongly preferred.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills,
with the ability to quickly build credibility and influence and
make recommendations to staff at all levels.
Experience with Cloud infrastructure and Cloud migration in a
large enterprise is preferred.
Strong understanding of Cloud and infrastructure components
(servers, virtual machines, storage, network, data, security), to
deliver end to end Cloud Infrastructure for data teams, is
preferred, as is experience with Cloud transition management,
including Infrastructure, network, custom and cloud based
Proficiency preferred in areas such as: metadata management,
master data management, data governance, data solutions management,
data quality, cleansing strategies and Web Services.
Proven record of managing project teams that include both IT
staff members and business stakeholders.
PMP and / or Agile Scrum certifications preferred.
