science, we’re in. Are you? About the Role: We’re looking for a
Director, Network & Monitoring on the Information Technology Team
to help us expand what’s possible for patients with serious
diseases. Reporting to the Head of Technology Services &
Operations, you’ll be accountable to develop and maintain the
high-level design plan for the overall logical and technical
network and monitoring architecture. You will provide technical
leadership and consulting across the organization, from strategic
decision making down to the project planning level. The Director
will gain organizational commitment for all high-level network &
monitoring plans and initiate and participate in projects to
evaluate technologies and methods for implementing these plans. A
mix of hands-on will be required as needed. What You'll Do: In this
role, you'll have the opportunity to Design and implement short-
and long-term strategic plans to ensure network and monitoring
platforms meet existing and future requirements. You'll also:
Develop, implement, and maintain documentation, policies,
procedures, and associated training plans for network and
monitoring resources. Develop and deploy methodologies for testing
network performance and providing network performance statistics
and reports. Provide architectural consulting expertise, direction,
and assistance to Network and Monitoring Engineers. Collaborate
closely with Enterprise Architecture. Conduct research on emerging
technologies in support of network and monitoring and recommend
technologies that will increase cost effectiveness and flexibility.
Develop, document, make recommendations, and communicate plans for
investing in network / monitoring technologies, including analysis
of cost reduction opportunities. Conduct research and make
recommendations on products, services, protocols, and standards in
support of all network procurement and development efforts. Plan,
acquire, and coordinate installation of in-house and remote network
devices and appliances across the organization’s global footprint.
Work collaboratively with Infrastructure team to enable design for
company LANs, WANs, VMs, virtual networks, and wireless networks,
including servers, routers, hubs, switches, UPSs, and other
devices. Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and
contractors to secure network products and services. Establish and
maintain regular written and in-person communications with the
organization’s executives, decision-makers, stakeholders,
department heads, and end users regarding pertinent network and
monitoring activities. Who You Are: You have a minimum of a
Bachelor's degree or college diploma in the field of computer
science with 10 years of experience or 12 years equivalent work
experience. You are or you have: 5 years’ experience managing,
developing, and delivering strategic hybrid network architectural
design and operational excellence in a global organization. 10
years’ experience designing enterprise-wide LANs, WANs, WLANs,
VPNs, VMs, virtual networks, hybrid networks etc. 2 years’
experience with monitoring technologies and platforms. 3 years’
experience leading teams. Extensive knowledge of resilient IT
networks and systems including common network routing protocols
including OSPF and BGP. Knowledge of Amazon Web Services, Google
Cloud Platform, Cisco Networking, and Generative AI An eye for
automation with prior experience in programming languages such as
python and bash to enable automation. This is a hybrid role based
out of ourBridgewater, NJoffice.You’llwork remotely most of the
time, with in-person collaboration when it matters most. This role
requires occasionaltravel of 5%-10%. LI-TB1 LI-Hybrid Pay Range:
