Job -responsibilities - The Senior Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for working within the BI team to deliver -reporting and dashboard solutions that meet the needs of the organization. - The developer must work -well in a team setting and have excellent organizational, prioritization, communication, and time -management skills. - The successful candidate will demonstrate accountability, flexibility and adaptability to handle multiple -and changing priorities and be able to successfully collaborate with development teams, technology -groups, consultants, and key stakeholders. Job requirements: --- Expertise in Data Warehouse, ETL, Cube and Report design and development --- Ability to design and plan scalable BI solutions --- Experience with requirements gathering --- Strong SQL Developer skills --- Strong analytical skills --- Extensive experience with report development using various tools (SSRS, Crystal, -Tableau, Excel, etc.) --- Good working knowledge of SSIS, SSRS, SSAS and proper workflow design and exception -management --- Familiarity with object-oriented programming methods. VB.NET, or C# background preferred --- Expertise working with relational and multidimensional database schemas and writing queries --- Ability to solve real-world business problems by designing and building queries sourced from -OLAP (online analytical processing) cubes, applying data mining algorithms, writing queries, -and designing reports using various toolsets and a SQL Server data warehouse --- Perform analysis, design, development, validation and implementation of reports. Ability to -analyze data issues within reports.
--- Ability to provide estimates to support timelines and deliverables --- Design and build lists, crosstabs, graphs, scorecards, metrics, filters, prompts, standard reports and dashboards --- Follow and enhance BI standards and best practices across the team --- Collaborate and mentor team members on methodology, design and architecture --- Ensure optimal end user performance by establishing and consistently executing overall system performance assessment -processes and associated action plans --- Operates with a wide degree of creativity and latitude. Ability to work on multiple projects at once --- Provide consultation on complex projects and act as a top level contributor Education/Experience: --- 5-7 years of Information Technology experience with a strong focus on Data Warehousing and Enterprise Reporting -solutions. --- 5+ years of experience with developing applications, reports, and dashboards. --- 4+ years of experience with developing reports against an OLAP data source is required. --- At least 5 years' hands-on experience with technical support. Strong ability to troubleshoot required. --- 4+ years of experience working with data warehouses is preferred. Strong SQL skills and experience with performance -tuning is required. --- 4-6 years of BI development, testing and change management. Also Preferred: --- Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau or Qlink --- Hadoop/Hive/Big data --- Fintech experience
