HSS SOFT is an Equal Employment Opportunity EmployerJob DescriptionIt is a Full time positionOverview:A BI consultant with a primary focus of this position to provide architectural guidance and technological recommendations that support the development and implementation of DW/BI solutions in PI area.Requirements:Candidate must be experienced working in projects involving QlikViewOther ideal qualifications include experiences in:--- Understands where to obtain information needed to make the appropriate decisions--- Demonstrates ability to break down a problem to manageable pieces and implement effective, timely solutions--- Identifies the problem versus the symptom--- Manages problems that require involvement of others to solve--- Carefully evaluates alternative risks and solutions before taking action--- Optimizes the use of all available resources--- Develops solutions to meet business needs that reflect a clear understanding of the objectives, practices and procedures of the corporation, department and business unitResponsibilities:--- Managing team of off-shore Agile Business Intelligence developers, responsible for all Analytic Portfolio in the defined area of scope.--- This person will be responsible for reviewing business requirements for all work requests and communicating with offshore what is needed, estimation and scheduling of deliverables, providing status reports, escalating issues and quality assurance.--- In addition, this person will mentor and coach the offshore team in the use of reporting tools and meeting deliverables and manage their workload.--- It is critical that the person has experience working in a fast paced environment, comfortable coordinating multiple requests with short turnaround timelines.Skills:--- 6-8 years of work experience in BI tool - QlikView--- Good analytical and logical skills in writing SQLs, Stored Procedures and creating Marts/Views in Teradata--- Experience in analyzing requirements and developing specifications and tasks for off-shore developers--- Business Intelligence-focused reporting--- Advanced level in SQL, Qlikview & other visualization tools--- 4-year degree in a related field (or equivalent experience)--- Experience working within a highly-matrixed organization--- Strong communication and presentation skillsAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
