Description. The Digital Technical & Engineering team (DTE) within Estee Lauder Companies IT is a fast growing and continuously modernizing organization enabling the business agenda at the Estee Lauder. As the global delivery arm of Information Technology, DTE is a high energy and fast paced team with new and exciting technologies continuously being added to our technology ecosystem. As part of DTE, the Supply Chain Order Management Solutions Architect will be responsible for the delivery of projects for Estee Lauder Supply Chain. DTE is responsible for the design, configuration, unit testing, integration testing, go live and handover of logistical solutions. This role will be required to cover Sales and Distribution, including Pricing/ Billing and ECC level logistics processes including delivery creation. As technology is at the forefront of enabling our business, IT has established multiple modern technology hubs where innovation and collaboration is optimized. This role will be based out of our ultra-modern, Long Island City Technology Hub. Delivery of Project solutions from design through to implementation and handover to Tech Ops (support team) working closely with the Estee Lauder Supply Chain functions team. Estee Lauder's landscape covers multiple solutions and projects could involve Online integration, Order Management integration from third parties, returns, rebates, consignment, availability checks, data integration a well as new functionality. Assessment and integration of new Supply Chain technologies as it relates to order management with opportunity to learning new Supply Chain technologies. Activities will include: SAP Order Management configuration based on requirements identified by Supply Chain Functions team working in concert with business stakeholders. Identification of FITS and GAPs based on requirements, design of solutions and writing of functional specifications to support approved GAPS. Working with developers to ensure understanding of functional specifications, providing test data in support of developments. Unit Testing of configuration and development objects. System Integration Testing of solutions prior to handover to Supply Chain Functions for User Acceptance Testing. Documentation of solutions. Resolution of issues found during User Acceptance Testing. Preparation for Go-Live, including cutover plans, documentation of manual system setup, transport lists etc. Go live - ensuring changes are successfully deployed to production, with system setup completed as per cutover plan. Providing initial hypercare of technical issues. Handover of solution to Tech Ops team who are responsible for ongoing support and enhancements. Take ownership and responsibility of project assignments, including plan and manage all personal tasks associated with the project. Engage, collaborate and partner with stakeholders to deliver solutions which enhance and improve Estee Lauder solutions. Engage and collaborate with DTE team to understand Estee Lauder processes and custom design. Qualifications. Provide Subject Matter Expertise to business and colleagues for SAP Order Management solutions. A proven track record of solution delivery across Sales and Distribution in a large multi-national organization. Must be confident in their knowledge, experience, and ability to design and deliver complex solutions, with a minimum of 10 years' experience with multiple global implementations. In-depth knowledge of SAP Order Management and Supply Chain order management processes. Deep understanding of sales and distribution enterprise structure, sales documents, sales order types, item categories,schedule lines, copy control, output control, partner determination, listings and exclusions, material determination, returns processes, availability check, cross company code and consignment sales processes and rounding profiles. Expertise in leveraging standard system capabilities and designing custom solutions within the SAP ecosystem and complimentary supply chain applications. Working knowledge of logistics execution processes and how they relate to Order Management. Experience with IDOCS and interfacing large volumes of sales order data into SAP from EDI and other external applications. Experience with API integration and Cloud hosted solution architecture a plus. Experience with tools enabling Distributed Order Management (DOM), OMNI and B2B are a plus. Self-starter who is pro-active with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to the Estee Lauder Global processes and procedures. Be familiar with order fulfilment concepts in a retail environment, including wholesale and online and OMNI channels. Experience working in Global Template environment. Well versed in Waterfall and Agile project delivery methodologies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to travel worldwide if required.
