JOB SUMMARY A Senior IT User eXperience Developer (UXD) applies proficiency in the planning, design, and development of web applications and web pages using code and visual design tools with the goal of enhancing the customers overall experience with the website and/or application. Works collaboratively with the development team to design various web applications and programs. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Employs programming, visual design, usability testing, and psychology to craft a product that's easy to use and navigate.
  • Designs website, application and/or features based on their research to ensure customers can easily understand how to use it.
  • Collaborates with Marketing/Graphics team to create the overall graphic design, colors and fonts used, make sure it is easy to read for as many people as possible. Considers accessibility features for a product, and the overall style each element will use.
  • Works with the development team to help them implement a specific design.
  • Produces high-quality solutions through flow diagrams, graphic designs, storyboards and site maps.
  • Provides guidance on the implementation of UX research techniques and testing activities to assess user behavior.
  • Maintains a competitive edge against competitor products and industry trends.
  • Mentors other User Experience Developers on design and enhances development team's expertise with user experience driven design. ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

    • Where applicable and when performing the responsibilities of the job, employees are accountable to maintain Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and adhere to internal control policies and procedures. Job Requirements:EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
      • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in a related field and/or equivalent relevant experience.
      • Minimum of five (5) years of UX designer experience with strong portfolio of projects with responsive design principles.
      • Experience with web tracking/analytic tools (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, Google Data Studio). KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
        • In depth knowledge of Human-Computer Interaction methods. Usually obtained through pursuit of an undergraduate or graduate degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Human Factors, or a related field.
        • Experience and proficiency creating clear and crisp wireframes with sound interaction design decisions.
        • Experience and proficiency communicating and debating design.
        • Experience and proficiency working with product and development teams in an Agile framework.
        • Some experience and competency with WCAG 2.1, WAI-ARIA is preferred
        • Some experience and competency with Bootstrap, Javascript, and social/rich media integration is preferred.
        • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
        • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
        • Strong organizational and planning skills.
        • Detail oriented.
        • Knowledge of Computer Science or Financial Services field is a plus.
        • Ability to grasp new concepts quickly, brainstorm ideas and deliver quick sketches, and meet timelines.
        • Ability to work well with others.
