Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Armonk, NY that is seeking an Application Developer (Microservices). They will have 1-2 round interviews depending on candidate. This is fully remote. This is a 5-month contract with possibility to extend.Job Requirements:REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong programming skills in Java, Data structures and algorithms, Web services, REST APIs, JSON, XML, etc.
  • Hands-on development expertise on Java 11, hands-on development expertise with Spring Boot
  • Quarkus preferred
  • Cloud-Native development experience using 12-factor principles
  • Experience in leading a team utilizing skills in Microservices, Java, Quarkus, Tekton, Test Driven Development (TDD), Pair Programming
  • Building Restful web services
  • Using a testing framework (JUnit)
  • Developing API specs using SwaggerHub
  • Strong skills in testing API using POSTMAN and other relevant tools
  • Prior experience in leading code reviews
  • Expertise with version control (GIT) and dependency management tools (Maven, Gradle)
  • Deployment experience using Red hat OpenShift, Docker and Kubernetes
  • Strong knowledge and experience in RDBMS concepts and databases like MySQL, etc. and NoSQL concepts and databases
