Are you a confident HR Consultant looking for that next step in
your career? At an exciting time of growth and change, SIX is
looking for a motivated and passionate Human Resources Manager to
manage all HR operational activities of our US business (circa 60
employees), based in in Stamford, Connecticut (hybrid working model
where some of the role can be performed remotely).
This is a standalone HR role which an opportunity to shape how our
Global HR Strategy is implemented in our US location. This role is
vital in enabling smooth and high quality end-to-end HR Services
across the entire employee life cycle. You will be part of the
local Leadership Team with a reporting line into Regional Head of
HR (Atlantic Region), based in London. You are able to work on own
initiative, you enjoy being part of a Global HR Team and are
excited about supporting a business that is going through
transformation and change.
What You Will Do
* Co-create and execute the People Agenda for the US location in
collaboration with the Local Leadership Team as a key member, be
the trusted advisor to the Business Leader for the US location
* Responsible for all aspects of the HR function within the US
business, including Advisory, Recruitment, HR Compliance &
* Collaboration and engagement with Regional & Global HR Teams and
Centres of Excellence
* Involvement with HR Projects both locally and globally
(Diversity, Learning & Talent, M&A)
* Maintain policies, manuals and handbooks for the US and recommend
improvements/enhancements as needed
What You Bring
* SHRM certified, ideally a college degree or equivalent
* Minimum of 3-5 years' previous experience in an HR Consultant
capacity ideally within Financial Services
* Strong knowledge of HR best practice and US employment law
(Federal & States)
* High integrity and focus on embedding the SIX' values at the US
location & willingness to create transparency
* Strong administration background focussed on implementing
continuous improvement for HR proceses
