About the Role As a Laboratory Technologist in our Transfusion Services department, you will: - Perform laboratory procedures essential to the preparation and dispensing of blood and blood products ordered by physicians. - Maintain and monitor blood inventory and product availability in alignment with departmental guidelines. - Collaborate closely with clinical teams and experience high levels of direct interaction in a supportive, innovative environment. - Contribute to the vital work of a busy Level 1 Trauma Center as we expand our team to meet the needs of our growing department. Preferred Criteria - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Laboratory Technologist - ASCP certification Required Criteria - Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or a related health?science field - New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License from the New York State Education Department TM Join a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
