Job Description Annual Salary: $180k-$220k (varies depending on years of experience) A mission-driven, community-focused healthcare organization is seeking a Medical Director to lead clinical operations at one of its high-volume health centers. The organization provides comprehensive primary care, behavioral health, and supportive services to underserved populations across multiple boroughs. With a strong commitment to health equity, this organization serves tens of thousands of individuals annually through fixed sites, mobile units, and school-based programs. The Medical Director will oversee clinical affairs at a designated health center, providing both direct patient care and leadership to a multidisciplinary team. This role involves supervising providers, ensuring quality standards, and collaborating with administrative leadership to optimize care delivery and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality primary care services to a diverse patient population. Supervise and support medical providers, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants. Partner with center leadership to manage day-to-day clinical operations. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, policy development, and compliance efforts. Lead or contribute to provider onboarding, training, and performance evaluations. Represent the center in clinical leadership meetings and organizational planning. Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning. Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, regulatory standards, and organizational values. Requirements: Board-certified MD or DO with an active license to practice in New York State. Minimum of one year of post-residency experience in a primary care setting. Demonstrated leadership experience or strong interest in clinical supervision and operations. Commitment to serving diverse, medically underserved communities. Bilingual skills and experience in community health settings are a plus.
