Job Description:
Thriveworks is seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse
Practitioner to join our network of experienced mental health
professionals. In this role, you will provide advanced psychiatric
nursing care by assessing, diagnosing, and treating behavioral and
psychiatric conditions through both direct care and telehealth
services. Working collaboratively with therapists and counselors,
you will develop comprehensive treatment plans that empower our
clients to lead happier and healthier lives. Conduct patient
assessments, including evaluating symptoms, medical histories, and
behavioral status. Formulate diagnosis and develop treatment
strategies. Prescribe medications and monitor patient responses.
Provide crisis intervention services as needed. Collaborate with
therapists and other healthcare professionals to optimize care
plans. Educate patients and their families on psychiatric
conditions and wellness strategies. Regularly review and adjust
treatment plans based on patient progress. Strong clinical skills
in psychiatric care and diagnosis Ability to prescribe and manage
psychiatric medications Excellent interpersonal and communication
skills Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems
Experience in telehealth or willingness to adapt to digital
healthcare delivery Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Nurse Practitioner license
Certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health (PMHNP-BC)
