Job Description:
Pine Acres Rehabilitation and Living Center is seeking a
dedicated and experienced Unit Manager to oversee our specialized
unit focusing on rehabilitation and skilled nursing care. This
position plays a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of
high-quality care and the implementation of effective treatment
plans for our residents. The Unit Manager will lead a team of
healthcare professionals and collaborate closely with
multi-disciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and enhance
the quality of life for our residents. Manage day-to-day operations
of the healthcare unit, ensuring compliance with applicable
standards and regulations. Supervise and evaluate staff
performance, providing guidance, training, and professional
development opportunities. Collaborate with medical professionals,
therapists, and support staff to design and implement effective
treatment plans. Monitor patient care, ensuring treatments are
administered as prescribed and promptly addressing any issues.
Maintain accurate records of patient care, treatments, and
progress. Develop and manage the unit budget, ensuring resources
are allocated effectively. Provide emotional and professional
support to patients and their families. Stay informed on
advancements in the field and integrate new best practices into the
unit. Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills In-depth knowledge of
healthcare regulations and best practices Ability to work
collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team Proficient in
healthcare management systems and software Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Valid nursing license Certification in
healthcare management or leadership (preferred)
