Job Description Job Description Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1 year of Cath Lab experience. This role offers an opportunity to contribute specialized skills in cardiac imaging and catheterization laboratory procedures in a dynamic healthcare environment. The position is based in Freehold, NJ, and is a contract assignment that allows for focused, impactful work within a dedicated cardiac services team. Key Responsibilities: Perform and assist with invasive cardiac procedures such as LHC, RHC, PTCA, STENT, PTCRA, PTMR, and TEC, adhering to aseptic surgical technique and universal precautions. Ensure safe and efficient operation of cath lab equipment, including monitoring and troubleshooting various systems. Accurately obtain, calculate, and analyze Hemodynamic data essential to patient care. Prepare procedure rooms efficiently, maintaining turnover times within 15 minutes and ensuring all supplies are organized, labeled, and within expiration. Maintain detailed logs, documentation, and reports related to patient care and imaging procedures. Assist patients by explaining procedures, ensuring comfort, and verifying all consents and patient identifications. Collaborate with cardiologists, adapting to individual preferences to support optimal procedure outcomes. Identify and report equipment issues promptly, maintaining a safe working environment. Desired Experience and Qualifications: Proven experience as a Cath Lab Technician with strong knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and imaging technologies. Ability to operate and maintain technical equipment safely and effectively. Skilled in patient preparation and education related to cardiac procedures. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and documentation skills. Certification as a Monitor Technician or equivalent telemetry experience is preferred. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a high-pressure environment.
