Role: Join our dedicated team at American Family Care in
Springfield, MA, as a Radiologic Technologist! In this vital role,
you will provide high-quality imaging services to support patient
care in a friendly and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, ensuring
patient safety and comfort. Prepare and position patients for
imaging exams, following established protocols. Maintain accurate
patient records and imaging documentation. Collaborate with
healthcare professionals to discuss imaging results and patient
care plans. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
in radiologic procedures. Maintain and troubleshoot imaging
equipment to ensure optimal performance. Provide excellent patient
service, addressing any questions or concerns regarding the imaging
process. Participate in ongoing training and professional
development to stay current with industry advancements.
Requirements: Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist
(ARRT) is required. State licensure to practice as a Radiologic
Technologist in Massachusetts. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience
in a clinical radiology setting preferred. Strong knowledge of
radiologic safety and imaging protocols. Excellent communication
and interpersonal skills for patient interaction. Ability to work
effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Willingness to
work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
