Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A K-12 school in
Staten Island, NY is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist
(OT) to provide specialized support during a leave of absence. This
contract position offers a unique opportunity to work within an
educational setting, delivering therapeutic services that enhance
student learning and development. Key Responsibilities: Conduct
evaluations and assessments to determine students occupational
therapy needs Develop, implement, and adjust individualized
treatment plans focusing on enhancing students fine motor skills,
sensory processing, and daily living activities Collaborate with
teachers, school staff, and families to support student goals
within the classroom environment Document progress and maintain
accurate records in compliance with school policies and regulatory
standards Participate in team meetings to coordinate
interdisciplinary services and promote student success Desired
Qualifications: Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in
school-based settings, particularly K-12 education Familiarity with
best practices for implementing OT services tailored to children
and adolescents Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively
with students, educators, and families Ability to manage caseloads
efficiently and maintain detailed documentation Knowledge of
special education laws and procedures is an advantage Location:
Staten Island, New York Position Type: Contract leave coverage This
