Job Description:
Albany Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse II
to join our Adult Emergency Department. This position requires a
commitment to providing the highest level of care to patients in a
dynamic and fast-paced environment. Our innovative healthcare

the forefront of medical education, biomedical research, and
comprehensive patient care. This role is pivotal in implementing
patient care in the emergency setting, coordinating with
multidisciplinary teams, and adhering to established protocols to
deliver exceptional health outcomes. Provide direct and
individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of
scientific nursing principles. Assess, plan, implement and evaluate
patient care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary health
care team. Document patient care services by charting in patient
and department records. Maintain a safe and clean working
environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Ensure the operation of equipment by completing preventive
maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions;
troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs. Educate patients
and their families on illness prevention and health maintenance
techniques. Participate in educational opportunities and
professional organizations to maintain professional growth and
licensure. Manage patient care emergencies and respond to patient
needs promptly. Proven ability to operate all relevant medical
equipment Clinical proficiency in emergency response Strong
interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively
in a high-pressure environment Keen observational skills Excellent
problem-solving and decision-making skills Medical Insurance Dental
