Join our team as a Central Sterile Technician, working alongside NYP Central Sterile Technicians in providing sterilization services to multiple Ambulatory and Inpatient Operating rooms including In Vitro Fertilization, Labor & Delivery, Endoscopy, Interventional Cardiology units. Central Sterile Supply Technician - Center for Community Health (CCH) - Mid-Shift (11AM-7PM) In this role, you will be responsible for preparing surgical trays and supplies in a safe and cost-effective manner. As a skilled professional at NewYork-Presbyterian, you will be responsible for decontamination, cleaning, assembly, packaging, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments. This is a full time mid-shift (11AM-7PM) position at NewYork-Presbyterian/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. Weekends and holidays are required. Preferred Criteria - Prior experience in Central Sterile Required Criteria - High School Diploma of GED - 1-year CSPD or ORT experience for all other areas OR Enrolled in/Completed CSPD training OR Valid Provisional Certification from Healthcare Sterile Processing Association Join a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
