AM – 5:00 PM Hours: 37.5 hours per week Job Overview We are seeking
a qualified X-Ray Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic
procedures in a clinical setting. The technologist will be
responsible for producing high-quality images while ensuring
patient safety, comfort, and compliance with all regulatory and
radiation safety standards. Key Responsibilities /t - /t Prepare
and position patients for radiologic procedures, explaining exams
and alleviating patient concerns /t /t - /t Operate radiographic
equipment to obtain diagnostic-quality images /t /t - /t Apply
radiation protection principles to minimize exposure to patients
and staff /t /t - /t Adhere to infection control, safety, and
quality assurance standards /t /t - /t Review and evaluate images
for technical quality and make necessary adjustments /t /t - /t
Accurately document procedures and patient care in departmental and
patient records /t /t - /t Perform routine equipment checks,
preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot issues as needed /t /t -
/t Maintain inventory of radiology supplies and ensure a clean,
safe work environment /t /t - /t Participate in continuing
education and maintain required competencies /t /t - /t Collaborate
effectively with radiologists, technologists, and healthcare staff
/t /t - /t Complete age-specific competencies and perform other
duties as assigned /t Requirements /t - /t Graduate of an
AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology /t /t - /t Active New
York State Licensed Radiologic Technologist (LRT) /t /t - /t ARRT
certification required /t /t - /t Minimum 2 years of recent X-Ray
Technologist experience /t /t - /t Current BLS certification
required /t /t - /t Strong communication, teamwork, and patient
care skills /t Preferred Qualifications /t - /t Experience
performing diagnostic radiographic procedures in a hospital or
clinical setting /t /t - /t Commitment to maintaining high
