Registered Nurse – Adolescent Behavioral Health – Vermont Start
Date: February 2, 2026 (firm start date required) Location: Vermont
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule:
Full-time rotating schedule with every other weekend; possible
on-call coverage Highlights: Specialized adolescent inpatient
behavioral health unit focusing on dual diagnosis and co-occurring
disorders Work with a multidisciplinary treatment team providing
medically-assisted withdrawal, stabilization, and recovery
education Utilize the nursing process to deliver complex care in a
safe, therapeutic environment designed for healing Provide clinical
supervision to mental health workers and support staff Opportunity
to float to other units and take charge shifts for professional
development 13-week assignment with blackout dates: 2/23–2/27,
3/16–3/20, 4/27–5/8 Requirements: Active Vermont or Compact RN
license Current BLS certification through American Heart
Association Minimum 5 years of RN experience required Recent
adolescent inpatient psychiatric or behavioral health experience
within the last 3 months (required) Resume must clearly list
psychiatric experience and all age groups treated Psych skills
checklist from within the last year Two supervisory references from
the last 2 years of employment Must be willing to float to other
units and accept charge responsibilities Requested time off cannot
exceed 7 days during assignment First-time travelers will be
