OB Hospitalist Opening in New JerseyLocation:Edison, NJNYC 30mFull-Time or Part-Time, Permanent PositionPosition Overview:Seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN Physician to join a flexible and collaborative hospitalist team. This position offers a balanced lifestyle with flexible scheduling, no billing or coding responsibilities, and a focus on inpatient OB/GYN care and medical education.Practice Highlights:Flexible schedule: 5 to 8 shifts per month24-hour in-house OB/GYN hospitalist shiftsInvolvement in family medicine residency clinic for daytime OB/GYN servicesCollaboration with nursing staff, midwives, and FM residentsOccasional GYN surgical support for clinic patientsCoverage of ED and inpatient GYN consultsParticipate in medical drills, simulations, and resident educationQualifications:Board Certified in Obstetrics and GynecologyActive New Jersey medical licenseProficient in full-scope OB/GYN careWillingness to teach medical students and residentsStrong communication and collaborative skillsCompensation & Benefits:Competitive hourly compensation ($160/hr base)Additional RVU-based incentive compensationComprehensive benefits package for full-time clinicians: health, dental, vision, PTO, disabilityPaid professional liability insurance with tail coverageAccess to free CME opportunitiesAbout the Area:Edison, NJ, offers suburban living with proximity to New York City and the Jersey Shore.
