shifts at Norwalk Hospital, providing primary inpatient care such
as admitting, rounding, and discharging patients. The role requires

Hospital, affiliated with Nuvance Health is seeking is seeking a
full-time Swing Shift Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
Hospitalist for Norwalk Hospital in Norwalk, CT. We are located in
suburban Fairfield County just 50 miles outside of New York City
along the Connecticut shoreline. Work in a collegial work
environment with experienced physicians and physician assistants in
busy hospital in a family friendly location with close proximity to
NYC. Variable shifts from 10 AM – 10 PM. Duties will include
admitting, rounding, discharges and working with the physicians.
You will have the opportunity to work independently but alongside
the Physicians in Hospitalist Medicine. Our Network offers many

Norwalk Hospital, a Level II Trauma Center, is accredited as a
Stroke Center and certified to provide Emergency Angioplasty for

City is easily accessible by car or train. Job Summary: Under the
supervision of a physician, provides primary medical care to
patients to assist in their recovery from acute illnesses and
minimize the effects of chronic illnesses. Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree and graduate of an approved Physician Assistant
(PA) school, CT State PA license, DEA/State of CT controlled
substance and certification by the National Commission on the
certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or a minimum formal
education or master’s degree, NP, State of CT RN and APRN license,
CT Controlled Substances and Federal DEA Registration and
Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner. ACLS & BLS certification. Must
maintain 50 CME's over two years. Strong Interpersonal and
communication skills. Two years prior Hospitalist or Internal
Medicine experience preferred. New grads with Internal Medicine
rotations will be consdiered. Willing to work variable shifts from
10 AM – 10 PM including 4-5 holidays per year and 22 weekends per
