Job Description Company Description As a certified medical
assistant at Obstetrics & Gynecology Associates, you will work
alongside a successful and dynamic team of Providers to support the
clinical needs of the center. Role Description -Responsible for
taking patients vital signs, height, weight, urine specimen and
inputting these values into EMR system -Responsible for
obtaining/updating patients chief complaints, allergies,
medications, and medical history, then transferring that
information into the patients EMR chart -In charge of
prepping/stocking exam rooms for patients visit -Accountable for
cleaning exam rooms and tables in between patients -Process orders
and package specimens to be sent out to labs -Effectively triage
patient calls in a timely manner -Maintain OSHA compliant lab
utilizing protective personal equipment, sterilizing medical
equipment and working in a safe manner at all times -Completes
assigned tasks in a timely and thorough manner Qualifications: -Not
required but preferred: Previous Ob/Gyn or Women's Health
experience -Must be proficient on a computer and familiar with EMR
-Comfortable talking to patients and addressing concerns -Ability
to handle stressful situations -Excellent customer service skills
and ability to communicate well -Friendly, outgoing, team player
attitude
