The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional nursing care,
assists physicians during exams and treatments, administers
medications, changes dressings, and monitors vital signs.
Observes and documents patient care, condition, reactions, and
progress.
Acts as primary, associate, or team leader in planning and
implementing care, ensuring safe aseptic techniques, and guiding
support staff.
The A6 unit is a 27-bed fast-paced cardiac unit caring for
post-intervention patients, those with heart failure, NSTEMI,
STEMI, pre-CABG, and peripheral vascular issues, including overflow
from ER.
Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing school,
1-year experience preferred, current Texas RN license, CPR, ACLS
(within 6 months), and EKG (within 90 days).
Full-time position.
