This permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment where you will be a critical part of our healthcare team. You will be responsible for providing high-quality mammography exams while ensuring patient safety and comfort. This role is perfect for someone who is driven, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional patient care. Responsibilities:As a Mammography Tech, you will be responsible for:1. Performing mammography examinations in accordance with physician orders and department protocols, while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.2. Ensuring the patient's safety and comfort during procedures.3. Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of all procedures performed.4. Assisting radiologists with procedures as needed.5. Assuring the efficient operation of the imaging equipment. This includes performing quality control checks, recognizing equipment malfunctions, and taking appropriate action.6. Participating in quality improvement initiatives and maintaining professional knowledge and skills by attending educational workshops and participating in professional societies.7. Providing education and information to patients regarding each procedure and ensuring informed consent is obtained when necessary.8. Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and clean work environment.Qualifications:The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:1. Completion of a Radiologic Technology program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) or equivalent.2. Current registration as a Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R).3. Current certification in Mammography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).4. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist.5. Proficiency in the use of medical imaging equipment and technology.6. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to explain complex medical procedures in a clear and compassionate manner.7. Strong technical skills with the ability to quickly adapt to new technology and equipment.8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.9.
