Job Description:

A recognized healthcare organization in Connecticut is looking to boost their Cardiology team with the addition of a new Nurse Manager.

Responsibilities:

The Nurse Manager (RN) - Cardiology will:

Oversee the daily operations of the unit, including -staffing, productivity, - and service recovery
Mentor and develop staff
Interface with other departments to assure patient throughput
Collaborate with the professional development department to assess and identify the learning needs of the staff
Identify opportunities for performance improvement
Participate -in the selection, evaluation, and coaching of unit employees
Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a Coordinator, Charge Nurse, and/or Manager.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Background in Cardiology Nursing
  
  Desired Skills:
  - Master's Degree in Nursing
