Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits' Stamford office currently seeks an experienced Logistics Account Manager, Marketing & Creative Services CONSULTANT. This role is based out of Stamford, CT and has great flexibility between working from home and working in our Stamford, CT headquarters. We are open to candidates working in our office on average, twice a week or 8 times per month.

The Logistics Account Manager, Marketing & Creative Services will be an integral member of and leader within the DFWS in-house creative group, reporting into the Senior Account Manager, Logistics. We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated and detail-oriented team player to manage the day to day of the operations and logistics of the Marketing and Creative Services Department. The ideal candidate will bring experience in managing the logistics of National POS Order Window and Ad hoc programs in the beverage alcohol space. They will also need to have experience in ensuring the production and procurement of high-quality marketing materials are delivered through a seamless ordering experience for Sales Partners. This role will also take the lead in managing and tracking the workflow of the department to ensure proper resourcing and project management.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree.
    Agency or Client-Side Project and process management experience: At least 7-10 years of agency or industry experience with solid working knowledge in Point of Sale development, procurement, production, and fulfillment.
  • Proven track record in managing large process-management projects with experience managing resource allocation and burn rate of resources preferred.
  • Experience with the project management software Workfront is preferred but not mandatory
    Beer, Wine and Spirits Marketing Spirits Preferred
    Adept at change management and at driving critical process-improvement workstreams.
    Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    Strong organization skills, from small details to higher-level processes.
    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Excel experience including pivot table creation and data aggregation required.
    Experience in management, mentoring and personnel development.
    Strong leadership skills with the able to work efficiently and effectively with diverse skills sets and personalities.
    Ability to take and give feedback in an open, direct manner.
    Creative mind-set, with strong problem-solving skills.
    Ability to have a big picture vision and help prioritize their own and their direct reports' workloads/projects.
    Proven ability to implement change and ensure processes are followed.
    High energy, flexible team player who can multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
    Positive energy, can-do spirit, and a diplomatic & customer-service attitude is a must.




    Responsibilities:


    • In conjunction with Sr. Account Manager oversee the resource allocation for all brand and sales programming and, packaging initiatives executed by Marketing Services team including program development, logistics management, communication platform/program development, supplemental/regional POS development, invoicing/tracking, etc.
    • In conjunction with Sr. Account Manager manage all POS procurement and sourcing, as well as executing the company's 3 order windows for POS materials. This includes ensuring all order windows are communicated and executed on time, all items are accurately costed with clear communication to brand teams and sales force. Ensuring materials are shipped on pre agreed timelines in conjunction with brand teams, creative agencies, vendors, and Creative Services team.
    • Maintain and develop current vendor partnerships to secure superior pricing agreements; conduct regular cost analysis of vendor partner pricing and triple-bidding to ensure optimal pricing.
    • Manage current and develop future National Order Window timelines in conjunction with vendor partners.
    • Lead the internal set up the National Order Window Program, element list, budgets, and visuals.
    • Development and maintenance of analysis and tracking of projects for Brand and for the Marketing Services department after execution. Compile synopsis of programs with ordering data to direct decision on future programming materials.
    • Manage vendor invoicing from vendors to the finance team and in finance system.
    • Be a driving force, inspiration, and coordinator for continuous process improvements; help identify opportunities to increase efficiency and alternative innovations that can bring value to our stakeholders.
