The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Senior Microsoft Systems Engineer, self-starter, multi-tasker, ultra-hands on, with strong education and financial services industry experience who will thrive in a midsized firm environment.



Must have strong skills in:

Design, build and maintain infrastructure solutions in on-premises and public cloud environments (Specifically: Azure Cloud, AWS, VMware)
Ability to simultaneously progress multiple initiatives and to adjust to rapidly shifting priorities
Qualified candidates will have a background in IT, computer science and engineering
Extensive experience with AD/Office 365 environments
Deep understanding of Active Directory/Azure AD
Experience with cyber security frameworks and aligning technical configurations to security controls
Understanding of cloud computing technologies with demonstrated experience on one or more of the following:
Azure Cloud/AWS Core Platforms
Proficiency with PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages
Excellent knowledge of cloud security best practices and solutions in cloud security posture management and cloud security workload management. Deep understanding of security, risk mitigation, disaster recovery, high availability architectures, hardware, operating systems, and networking connectivity
Must have excellent interpersonal & communication skills (written and oral)



Required background:

Minimum of 10 years' experience as a Systems Engineer, highly preferably within investment management domain
Strong expertise in Active Directory and Azure cloud
Expertise in Microsoft 365 / Azure tenant configuration and maintenance
Strong experience with AD / Azure AD domain management
Intune device management for desktops and MDM
Hybrid Exchange administration/management
Windows networking including DNS, DHCP
Virtualization experience with VMware
Cloud endpoint experience with Windows virtual desktops (AVD, Windows 365, Citrix)
Implementing and maintaining enterprise monitoring platforms (LogicMonitor / OpsGenie)
Knowledge of Cisco a plus
Exposure to server hardware configuration and management
Experience with data protection technologies/backup plans
Relevant Microsoft certifications a plus
College degree in engineering a plus
