Role: Security Project Manager

Location: Remote

Long-term contract/Fulltime

Essential Job Functions are listed below:

Responsibilities include expert-level governance, alignment, assurance, management, integration, optimization, tracking finances, infrastructure, planning, and improvement.

Demonstrates highly advanced awareness of key cyber security trends.

Considers alternative courses of action and selects best options according to intended security posture.

Identifies, clarifies, resolves, and initiates solutions to very complex problems that involve analysis of inadequate or conflicting data. Keeps cyber security as the focal point during all activity.

Verify project scope and determine methods of managing and controlling for highly complex projects and programs. Plan, estimate, budget, and control project cost. Identify and manage project risk.

Ensures team collaboration, as required, via coaching and development of team members.

Effectively communicate project details and status updates. Effectively lead planning meetings and project updates including detailed and complex stakeholder presentations. Provide clear and concise written reports.

Provide wide range of detailed guidance, instruction, and training to improve design, systems, procedures, processes, schedules, and costs. Confidently challenge others at a high level of informed understanding in all project work.

Ensure maximum customer satisfaction and demonstrate effective and efficient performance of project work activities on complex project level.

Qualifications:

PMP Certification is a plus

7+ years of experience in Project Management with IT security related endeavors

Successful use of both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies

Ability to communicate with all levels engaged in project delivery, to include stakeholders

Management of vendors and services

Project Management experience organizing documentation and directing staff and vendors for delivery and cost management

Must demonstrate a "can-do" attitude.
